starcraftmaster Posted October 30, 2008 Author Posted October 30, 2008 cant find the AGP Aperture size in the bois
puntoMX Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I can see why not, it´s a PCI card and I really looked over that; the motherboard must be PCI only like the crap from compaq/HP...You are stuck, and take “as is” for now. A complete upgrade would do you a lot more, or try to find a ATI 9250 PCI 128/256MB or so for 10USD used .
starcraftmaster Posted October 31, 2008 Author Posted October 31, 2008 he motherboard must be PCI only like the crap from compaq/HP?my mother is not crap lolbet its better then yours
CoffeeFiend Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 (edited) my mother is not crap lolbet its better then yoursGood joke! A pre-AGP board (paired with an old very, very low end budget PCI vid card and an ancient ancient budget celeron Socket 370 CPU no less) better than a modern P35-based board (and an overclocked Core 2 Duo). Right!Your PC would have stood a chance in such a "mine is bigger than yours" contest 10 years ago. In fact, a 1999 P3 chip (once OC'ed, on a good board, with fast RAM & disk, and with its 4x bigger L2 cache than yours) would most lilely beat it on a lot of benches... weEvil Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Since Punto's got an itchy trigger finger, I need to make a new thread. There is a program called 3D Analyzer that can emulate certain videocard features. T&L Pixel Shader... etc. on older GPUs with a performance hit.http://forums.megagames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49173starcraftdude:Have fun with your game.... I mean slideshow.
puntoMX Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Since Punto's got an itchy trigger finger, I need to make a new thread. Not at all .I used that program too on some Radeon 7000 about 4 years ago and it works partly (I used it for NFSU), he could give it a try but it will take up some CPU power.Merging topics.
