Hi All

I downloaded and installed WAIK.

Downloaded and installed vLite v 1.2.

When I start vLite it wants me to download WAIK

What have I missed here?

You're using a x86 Windows Vista. vLite 1.2 has a bug to detect the WAIK under x86 Windows. Go to the the waik folder and copy the x86 WIMGAPI.dll to your vLite installation folder.

• make sure :

• • you've installed Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK)

• • you have the most recent vlite

then

• Copy wimgapi.dll from Source Path C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\wimgapi.dll

to target Path C:\Program Files\vLite\

• make sure :

• • you've installed Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK)

• • you have the most recent vlite

then

• Copy wimgapi.dll from Source Path C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\wimgapi.dll

to target Path C:\Program Files\vLite\

The problem was already solved back in October.
