Figures Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 As the topic states, as soon as I try to proceed to download any updates I get an error stating " Windows Updates Downloader has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I am using Win XP home, running service pack two. I am using this for my updates list. I have MS frameworks 2.0 installed, I tried reinstalling WUD, still no go. Any suggestions?
jcarle Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Usually, when a .NET application crashes, there's an extended error that comes with it. I'd need that information to be able to help you.
Figures Posted September 29, 2008 Author Posted September 29, 2008 (edited) Id upload the printscreen pic, but it is to large as I am restricted to 200k or less. But that's the only error I get with a smaller MSG below stating " If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on may be lost." Then to the right of that a close button. There is no scrolling option with an extended error dialog box. Edited September 29, 2008 by Figures
