Figures Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 As the topic states, as soon as I try to proceed to download any updates I get an error stating " Windows Updates Downloader has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I am using Win XP home, running service pack two. I am using this for my updates list. I have MS frameworks 2.0 installed, I tried reinstalling WUD, still no go. Figures Posted September 29, 2008 Author Share Posted September 29, 2008 (edited) Id upload the printscreen pic, but it is to large as I am restricted to 200k or less. But that's the only error I get with a smaller MSG below stating " If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on may be lost." Then to the right of that a close button.
