rickytheanuj Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I m so tired by searching and installing the appropriate drivers for windows XP in different-different computer. That's why i want to know that , If it is possible to make a all drivers collection which automatically detect hardware and install appropriate drivers from CD or DVD???help me please..
Tripredacus Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Not sure about from an optical media, but you can copy the drivers to the hard drive, and set the appropriate path in the registry so Windows looks there for drivers when it detects a device. That registry key is:HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DevicePathBy default, this key has '%SystemRoot%\inf' but you can add extra paths separated by commas without spaces.
