Microsoft Optical Moue 3000/Dell Problem

Hi All ...

I have a Dell Vostro 200 Computer running Windows XP Home Edition. I just bought a Microsoft Optical Wireless Mouse 3000. It works fine with one exception. When I use it, the screen saver doesn't start as it normally does after the desired idle time using the standard Dell mouse. Remove the wireless mouse and put back the Dell mouse, everything is fine.

Any ideas?
