BitzFreak Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 (edited) Hello,I have installed VLite and made a a Unattended DVD (Witch my own drivers slipstreamed). But I have one issue, also a question. On a normal Vista installation, all my components work. But a Vlited...:When I install a Vlited editon (I have choosed to not rebuild the DVD), the trouble begins. I doesn't recognize my Pen drive, but when I turn on my Toshiba external hard drive, the party begins. Windows: "New 3.5" HDD found. Please insert the DVD with the drivers". What the heck? That happens to if I insert my other pendrive. This works on a Non modified installation very well... So, how do I not destroy the pre-installed drivers? Now my question. How I can let Vista (with Vlite) install my wanted applications during the installation it self? I hope someone can help me,BitzFreakPS: Excuse my bad English, I'm still a student... BitzFreak Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 No, I don't want to have that M$ stuff... And, if I slipstream it, I can't remove components in VLite, isn't it? But how I can let him not remove the drivers?BitzFreak
Kraze Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 (edited) Service Pack 1 comes with USB drivers and without SP1 USB wont work. In your case, the Pen Drive and your External Hard Drive are not working as a result of missing USB drivers. You can still remove components if you slipstream SP1. Edited September 14, 2008 by Kraze
BitzFreak Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Why it works fine with an non-modified Vista Disc (No SP1)? And, how I can let programs install during the windows installation?BitzFreak
