  1. Hello, First I wanna' thank you for your support. But what is my question. In my home, there are living many people and many computers. I manage it for them. I'm getting sick that I so many questions get: "My computer is broken, can you help me?" So we have brought a server and a lot of workstations (aubout six). So I want to start configuring it. Quick overview of my server's hardware: 1 Gigabit Ethernet NIC Support for hardware virtualisation (Hyper-V) 4 Gigs of DDR2 RAM A AMD Dualcore (Athlon X2) running at 2,5Ghz And a lot of disk space, since I want to store everything centrally It's running Windows Server 2008 Enterprise What do I want? A Domain (Where workstations can logon, and limited user rights, so they can't manage the settings or install unknown apps) A Central Firewall (Microsoft Forefront TMG with web filtering against adult content) A Web server (To run webmail and a site for fun) Maybe DNS and DHCP What I know is that I cant run MS Forefront TMG on a domain controller, exactly there I can use Hyper-V So now my question. Where is a tutorial to configure this? I have tried already with a domain, but the logon is very slow. (About 5 minutes). Thanks for your support.
  2. Simple tutorial for all this? I need an ASP.NET webmail application. I got 3 Mail providers? Thanks in advance
  3. Yep, but that is hosted. I want to have the source, si I can set it up in my home (intranet). I have a server, I want to use it
  4. Hello, First of all, I don't know if this is the right forum section. I think so, because this is for my server. So what I want? I got lots of computers in my home, and I need to reinstall a lot. I continuesly need to re configure my mail. I have a server, and I thought the following: How I can configure OWA (Outlook Web Access) so that I can use as a standard email client for e.g. GMail POP3/SMTP. Without having to set up a Exchange mailserver myself. And, if OWA can't do it, which web email can? I don't want to use 3 different webmails, just one webmail; hosted at home; witch my functions. So, if i need to reinstall a computer, I just have to click a link for my Email. A difficult story, but I hope you do understand. Can you guys help me out? Thanks in advance, BitzFreak
  5. Why this problem is denied like hell? BitzFreak
  6. I find out that another guy has exact the same problem. Here
  7. Hello, VLite have got a bug, I think. So what's my problem? I don't want Vista SP1. I just don't like it. So, if I install a compelete edition of Windows Vista (Non SP1), everything works. But, a VLited non SP1 has a lot of driver issues. Windows won't detect the right External Harddisk, even my Pen Drive isn't recognised. Even my display is know as a Generic Monitor. Because it just don't have the drivers. Now ain't gonna tell me please that I must slipstream SP1, because I don't want it, and a Full installation (Non-SP1, again) everything works very well. I didn't remove any drivers, and hardware support in VLite. What's the solution? Thanks in advance, BitzFreak PS: Excuse my bad English Edit: Like as the link below, I mounted my install.wim from the original installation DVD, and merged the files from the wim witch "\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository". That didn't work, not even after a reboot... My external harddisk is still unknown...
  8. Why it works fine with an non-modified Vista Disc (No SP1)? And, how I can let programs install during the windows installation? BitzFreak
  9. No, I don't want to have that M$ stuff... And, if I slipstream it, I can't remove components in VLite, isn't it? But how I can let him not remove the drivers? BitzFreak
  10. Hello, I have installed VLite and made a a Unattended DVD (Witch my own drivers slipstreamed). But I have one issue, also a question. On a normal Vista installation, all my components work. But a Vlited...: When I install a Vlited editon (I have choosed to not rebuild the DVD), the trouble begins. I doesn't recognize my Pen drive, but when I turn on my Toshiba external hard drive, the party begins. Windows: "New 3.5" HDD found. Please insert the DVD with the drivers". What the heck? That happens to if I insert my other pendrive. This works on a Non modified installation very well... So, how do I not destroy the pre-installed drivers? Now my question. How I can let Vista (with Vlite) install my wanted applications during the installation it self? I hope someone can help me, BitzFreak PS: Excuse my bad English, I'm still a student...
