Hi everyone,

I installed Notepad++ in my system and created a desktop shortcut and assigned a keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+N.Then i accidently deleted the shortcut.Again a created a new shortcut.But when i tried to reassign the keyboard shortcut it failed.Nw nothing will show up if i press Ctrl+Shift+N nor i am able to assign it to any shortcut.This is my work computer and i dont have administrator priviliages in it nor i can install a software in it.Can anyone pls help??

What program are you using to assign keyboard shortcuts?

i'm using a portable version of notepad++.just copied the files from network...also for creating shortcut i'm not using any software..just made a shortcut in desktop,copied it to "Allprograms" folder..rightclick and on shortcut tab pressed ctrl+shift+N...nyway nw its ok..i just had to make a reboot...n thanks for ur efforts buddy...
