nanascho3
I recently purchased Windows XP Professional w/ SP3 integrated and used it to create an unattended bootable installation disc in nLite 1.4.8. After booting from the disc, choosing my partition, and beginning the installation, the system froze during the file copy and then halted, stopping the signal to the monitor and hard drive.I came across THIS ARTICLE from Microsoft that may(?) explain the problem but I am not clear on what actual steps/process to take to actually solve the issue when applying it to creating the custom ISO image in nLite.Or could this be a bug in nLite? TranceEnergy
I dont think its nlite. I think it's you or the computer which is the problem. No offence. Last session?
AgiHammerklau
Even though it never occurred to me, some users even reported this problem for W2K.So I thought about it and searched for a solution.Unfortuanetly nothing solid came up, just wild guesses, that seem nevertheless logical.-some saw a connection between the system file protection and SP3-some said it´s related to the latest rootcertificateupdate-some made the (non)driversigningpolicy responsible (maybe some vista-stuff was taken over in SP3 ?)and not to forget :-some are convinced, it were the alienshope, it helps narrowing down,Agi
BikinDutchman
The MS article is about substantial slow down not completely halting the process. You might remove the OEM parts: the $oem$ folder and I386\WinNT.sif, and see if you get a better integration. TranceEnergy
I'm suspecting aliens as well. I think nuhi is the Alien Overlord, and he is mind controlling us. But don't tell anyone
