Harley Posted February 15, 2002 Posted February 15, 2002 I have an Abit MotherBoard w/UDMA66 Highpoint IDE port. XP cannot see the C drive as does not show up in the post. It is a special bios driven IDE port setting. Tried to go around it in the BIOS. No luck. Any suggestions woudl be greatly appreciated.:mad:
Drewdatrip Posted February 15, 2002 Posted February 15, 2002 HEy dood i had similar problems with the abit hpt366. goto their homepage--http://www.highpoint-tech.com/ and find your driver, if they dont have Xp try Win2k. If that doesnt work i have the beta driver, but no where to host, Pm me if the first option doesnt work.GoodLuck-Drew
BAH Posted February 15, 2002 Posted February 15, 2002 What you need to do is put the HDD on one of the normal IDE channels boot up XP load the attached drivers reboot and put the drive back on the ATA66 controler and it worksHPT366
