mopgcw
I was able to successfully create the image file, with n-lite and wmp11 slipstreamer for a new XP disc from my original OEM XPSP1 disk, everything seemed to work like a champ. burned the iso with nlite to a clean dvd, and no problems reported. to test it all out, I then create a new VPC machine and "boot" it from the DVD. go through the install/format questions, and it reboots ok to the XP set-up part -- you know the section that says 39 minutes left.... So far so good. Then when it hits the network set-up section, it re-boots and starts the whole process over. I would greatly appreciate any pointers to how to get it over this little hiccup. thanksGeorge Edited July 17, 2008 by mopgcw
Guest
To save you DVDs, I'd recommend "Create Image" in the Bootable ISO menu and then testing with that image in your VPC. I'm afraid I don't know how to solve your problem though.
kingsc
I haven't used the WMP11 Slipstreamer yet.Try it without WMP11 Slipped and see your results, then you'll know the culprit.
