ceez
hey guys, how you doing? at work the guy that handled the sql is no longer there so it's up to us to finagle it....errr....wing it!anyways, we have a backup disaster recovery server in which we can backup the original db's from the live server and then restore on this backup server.when the application opens it looks for the username and password of account located on the live server. I do not know the user/pass of these accounts since they had been created before i started and no one else knows them.I am wondering if it's possible to migrate or copy the users from one server to another keeping the same permissions and passwords. This way when the application on a workstation or laptop opens it will see the username associated with the db and open up successfullyi hope i was able to explain myself correctly.thank you for your time, ceez
