Hi;

As I figured, Acer refuses to supply me with a Windows OS installation DVD and I am unable to use their Recovery DVD to make a vlite. They have graciously offered to let me download and iso of my Vista premier edition. Will I be able to use this to make a vlite? Will I have to extract the files out of it?

Any help would be appreciated, as it is a very large download, and I would hate to do it for nothing.

Thanks

Angela

I cannot say what is meant by "premier", but yes, it should work allright, of course it is highly advised to burn the downloaded file to a DVD as to re-create a "standard" install DVD and store it safely.

Without knowing which kind of file you are going to download I cannot say if file extraction or any other modification needs to be done. :unsure:
