Error in copying Files from CD

After copying the files from the Vista CD to the Desktop, or the backup hardrive, or anywhere I receive this error box.

When Clicking on details, This is what i see

After i close that one, (it takes maybe 3 trys on QUIT)

I then see this box.

Are you running a 64Bit Vista?

No, I AM RUNNING 32 BIT VISTA ULTIMATE SP1, sorry bout the caps... do i need to run 64 bit?

no, you don't need use a x64 Vista. Hmm the only time I saw this Exception on a x64 Windows. But nuhi is also using a x64 Vista.

What is your Temp-folder and where are you trying to copy the files (which folder)?

C:\Users\D***l\AppData\Local\Temp is my temp folder

I tried copying the files to the desktop on my 60GB C: drive(23.8GB Free), to my 30GB D: drive (23.1GB free) and also my 750GB E: Drive(536 GB free), all to no end. (Well it got to the end, and THEN gave me the error.. all files, or very close to all of them are copied.

ok, could you please try to copy the files yourself?

Just select all files and folders from the DVD and copy all files with the explorer to your working folder.

Ok, Did that, Then when i open Vlite, and it asks for the folder where the files are stored, i tell it then i get the same error. all of them

are you using a original clean MS DVD or a Recovery DVD from a OEM?

It is a free copy given to me by my school, i believe it is the original Microsoft DVD that i would have gotten had i gone to the store and purchased one.

I just received that error on my Vista x64 box. After a couple a minutes of trials and errors, the problem was the file wimgapi.dll. I used the one from the x64 version of WAIK. Maybe yours is the problem too.

I attached the file to see if it works.
