It is on purpose.

Try removing those and you will see why.

Anything particular u think about? I have removed several of these already, i did a fresh install, i didnt let nlite remove everything, but very lite, no ie or wmp. For some weird reason Automatic updates were not removed, i did however update with hotfixes, but no IE updates. Kinda strange. However i managed to remove all windows update files i could see, typical wu*.* and the service too of course. I have problems deleting some files, like one of the dhcp files, but i reckon once i force registry permissions, id get that. Gonna read up on bold fortune and make a check list later.

Thank you for your time, much appreciated!

  • 5 months later...

when about removing Drivers ( you can poorly remove anything using the "safe" preset)

can any one offer a good update to what "keep file" should include in reference to what files nlite shouldn't remove

for each removal or certain group

presuming you want to remove more and still get it safe
