Ripped components in w2008 stnd

Featured Replies

I did and -extreme vliteing of w2k8 server stnd 64 bits , allmost everything exept some services.

As you can see my NIC works fine but the overlaping popup on the connection says

" Connection status unknown , the dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion"

The nic LA connection tab says "ipv4/v6 connectivity : Not connected"

Any direct ideas of what this dependency service is?

Sounds like u either have tcp ip helper for ipv6 installed and enabled and its reporting missing services for ipv6 or that some network diagnostic service is actually reporting ipv6 helper service missing. Something like that i guess.

I have just installed vista without diagnostic services, and think i actually need them, i cant use network sharing center, and yes i have both network explorer and event viewer etc. Diagnostic tools are ok to have anyway i guess.
