bcmktg Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I am still receiving a toside.sys error when the initial configuration files are loading on a computer with known good RAM and which operates perfectly with XP SP 2 or SP3 RC2 Build 5508. I'm slipstreaming SP3 RTM using nLite v1.4.5 beta 2 and I have attached my Last Session .ini file for your review. Please help, if you can - I sincerely appreciate it.AlLAST_SESSION.INI
GrofLuigi Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Nothing unusual, except for drivers - you seem to load a lot of stuff from "driver backup". I'm not familiar with this, but I'm guessing it's a driver backup utility that *probably* picked up some stuff from the system where it was running - I see entries like ks.inf , machine.inf , netrasa.inf etc. which are part of the normal windows drivers and SP3 for example should have updated versions of these (or even possibly SP2).My suggestion? Get rid of all of them and find drivers for your hardware ONLY (Intel, Crystal Audio) direct from the manufacturer and UNPACK THEM so that .inf-s are visible and picked up by nLite. Also you have many addons (i don't use any, except for DirectX), so I couldn't comment on them, but they could also be causing conflict if they are old versions/somehow incompatible. I'll leave to others to review them. And BTW, toside is Toshiba IDE Controller. Do you have that piece of hardware at all?GL
