toastycheese678 Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Has anyone gotten a hold of this update to slipstream into the Vista image? I am specifically looking for the x64 version. A windows update link would be great. Here is the kb article link:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942567It states that you must contact the Manufacturer of your pc in order to obtain the update, but i build my own computers. Any suggestions?Thank you
MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Not a 100% certain as I don't run x64You could try downloading that update to your x64 machine using windows update, then simply drill down from your system drive to Software distro/downloads & extract the .cab file of that update. You then integrate the cab file as you would with any other hotfix in Vista.
toastycheese678 Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 Problem is that it does not show up in Windows Update. If you look at the build number (6.0.6002.18273) it says 6002. Does that mean it will not be available until SP2?

toastycheese678 Posted June 25, 2008 Author Posted June 25, 2008 How can you tell that it is the beta versions? And has anyone found the final release versions?
MagicAndre1981 Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 the fileversions are from Nov 2007 and some information for the SP1 Servicing Stack are missing inside the pkgProperties.txt.
