ripken204 Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 how do i adjust the volume of the system beep or any other system sound?all of the sounds under the sounds tab play at a very low volume. i need to put the system volume at 100% to be able to hear them.and if it is noisy around me i can't hear it at all. i would like to be able to blast the beeps as loud as i possibly can..anyone know what's going on with this?
Tripredacus Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Unfortunately, there is no setting to play system sounds at a different level than any other sounds that your computer makes, like from DVDs or CDs or what have you. You could use an audio editor (like Audacity) to amplify the sounds so they are louder than the other sounds, or change them to a louder sound alltogether. What kind of speakers do you have? I always have my system volume at 100% and dictate the actual volume with the dial on the speakers.
Tripredacus Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 Have you tried the volume up and down function keys? Also you could consider using headphones if your job allows it.
