shilyro Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 That is tough ,just use the Compatibility button,About the Installation background ,you should edit the spwizimg.dll in Windows\system32(Install from windows) and a file in Boot.wim(From DVD).If you are happy ,edit the C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll , it will be perfect , but i failed , dont know how to change the IMG, Just change the Bitmap of Spwizing, there should be 3 Spwizimg.dll,s in a complete Vista DVD one in Windows system32, one in DVD, sources , one in BOOT.wim(in the second Directory?just forgot, sorry)May you luck

bledd Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 (edited) it can't work directly with ISO files, you have to unpack them with winrar, or mount them using daemon tools, and copy the files to say C:\VistaDVD\ , then point vlite at thatthe best way to learn is to just 'do it' yourself matealso, testing in a virtual machine saves you formatting your pc, use virtualbox, its free and fast.just remember tick what you want to remove not what you want to keep , just read the descriptions for each one and decide for yourself-for now, i wouldn't bother messing around with custom install screens etc, it's a waste of time Edited April 17, 2008 by bledd
