Is IE6 Sp1 for W2K an Addon?

Hi all, 1st post here.

I know the topic is enough out of date but I have to work with W2K yet. I discovered nLite not a long time ago. I build the first image of W2K with SP4 and patches but, once I tried it, after installation i remembered I didn't integrate IE6 so this operation have been done manually. After this, WSUS send to PC a lot of IE6 and OutlookExpress patches.

I read several guides (in Italian specially) but they focused above all WXP. Here my question(s):

Can I build an addons with the IE6 SP1 package? i.e. can I consider IE6 an application suitable to build addons on/with it?

If yes, is it possible run this addon before hotfixes?

I can do the same mind for MS Office 2000 Professional?

Sorry for my not good English but I hope my problem is clear.
