  1. Hi all! I created my nlite boot Cd of my W2K ITA official CD. I integrated SP4, IE 6.0 SP1, DX9, WMP 9, Firefox, JRE, Audio and video codecs, Adobe Reader 8.1.2 and hotfixes. Installation runs OK until a message is prompted: "The file xxx is not a batch file". OK pressed and the process continues without other errors. After restart all applications are up but Adobe Reader. But this is a minor issue. The main situation is when I try to browse the network: at every click I get an error window inform that there's "...a script error in Internet Explorer... do you want continue...? Clicking Yes or NO is the same. I get the right window aniway but if I browse again every time i get the error window and then the correct one. What's the steps to investigate about this error? Thanks in advance. Nicola
  2. Excuse me Kurt, but my English is not too good. What do you mean with the words above? My nlite boot CD was created successfully, without errors. Only when I installed OS on the PC I get the issue. Maybe nlite boot Cd creates a session file on the PC I work on? Thanks for your interesting
  3. Hi all, I built at least 5 boot W2K CD. I solved with work in progress some minor issue like wrong silent parameters for cabs and driver integration. But there's a specific issue that continue to happen. Hotfixes do not applied to W2K. I tried to put them first in the list, last (after cabs), moved Windows installer 3.1 at the bottom of list and so on but all the time hotfixes remain on CD :-(. Other things like IE6 SP1, Windows Media Player 9, video and audio driver work properly but hotfixes don't want collaborate!!! What do I can see in order to solve this problem? Thanks in advance. I know there are some pack of hotfixes (and I could use them) on the net but I'd like just to understand how correcty integrate patches.
  4. Thank you for your interesting! this morning I finished my 1st nlite modded boot W2KCD. Tomorrow I will try it. Mr. Nuhagic is a genius!!!! and a great benefactor of humanity
  5. Hi all, 1st post here. I know the topic is enough out of date but I have to work with W2K yet. I discovered nLite not a long time ago. I build the first image of W2K with SP4 and patches but, once I tried it, after installation i remembered I didn't integrate IE6 so this operation have been done manually. After this, WSUS send to PC a lot of IE6 and OutlookExpress patches. I read several guides (in Italian specially) but they focused above all WXP. Here my question(s): Can I build an addons with the IE6 SP1 package? i.e. can I consider IE6 an application suitable to build addons on/with it? If yes, is it possible run this addon before hotfixes? I can do the same mind for MS Office 2000 Professional? Sorry for my not good English but I hope my problem is clear. Thanks in advance for your time and precious work. Nicola M
