Nick_White Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 (edited) I don't need useless things like wallpapers, sounds so I remove them from my custom Windows CD.But it looks like nLite has a small bug: if I slipstream IE7 and remove "Windows sounds" from components, after I install the CD, in the sound Control Panel applet there are traces of 3 sounds (that don't exist anymore on disk):Blocked Pop-Up Window (C:\WINDOWS\media\Windows Pop-up Blocked.wav)Feed Discovered (C:\WINDOWS\media\Windows Feed Discovered.wav)Information Bar (C:\WINDOWS\media\Windows Information Bar.wav)There have the speaker icon next to them and when I click it says the files don't exist. It's not a big deal but I guess it's not too much effort in removing these entries. Edited March 31, 2008 by Nick_White
