I have a full install of 2007 Enterprise but communicator isnt in my start menu

its not on the disk either

i even tried setup.exe /admin to see if it was deselected but didnt find it there either

Office Communicator was released after Office 2007 went RTM, so you have a license for it - but it isn't on the disc. You can get it with your license agreement, obviously you've got licenses for Enterprise, but it's separate. Stop looking on the disc .

great. now i have to talk to our software licensing guy -last time he mailed me our office 2007 because he didnt know what an ISO was.

Yep, ditto with Project and Visio. You doubtless have license to them, but they are on separate discs.

I'm not calling BS I would actually like to know -as I mentioned our software licensing guy keeps us as in the dark as he can about what we have available

If you can provide a MS link about it i can include it when i request the newer CD with communicator on it (hopefully i can get one with SP1 integrated as well)

just go download it from MS site. as long as you have the licencses for it you are fine
