How to restore my removed components?

I recently used vLite to make an ISO for Vista Ultimate. Upon completion I realized that I had removed a couple of components that I really wanted to keep. I had already applied them as a Rebuild One (Ultimate).

I extracted my wim files again and then went to vLite and browsed to the folder. vLite is still referring to Ultimate with vLite in front of it and whenever I go to components, the ones I removed are still missing. I unchecked the option to "load last session on browse" still with no success. I even uninstalled and reinstalled vLite with no success. I also deleted my temporary folder.

I am currently downloading my install.wim again, though I don't know if this is even necessary.

Help on this matter would be much appreciated.

you should have made a copy of the Install.wim first, it's better to copy it to another partition or rename it , just in case vlite may over write it

If your original install.wim was in an ISO then just extract it again, you cannot bring back removed components, unless you reinstall.
