Ok you are correct. I guess it is not included in the latest SP2 release. However, as I download Service Pack 2 updates from Windows Updates, how do I do included these on a disc or better yet where are the Windows Updates files saved so I can included them using Nlite as an addon or service pack update. I know the numbers are KB something but where are they even found. How is this done? You see people making discs that include say latest December updates, that is what what I meant by I dont want IE7 included. I want to make my own disc of all service pack updates so I dont have to go and download many more. Takes time and if you happen to be using dialup, you can forget it, take forever.

There are a lot of folks on this forum who can probably offer more help, but if you want one source for KB Updates and Patches, go here:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx

You can also go to MS and get the latest SP3 Beta, or wait a month or so for the finished product. Even then, it will not include IE7. By the way, there are already reports that IE8 has been released to beta testers, and will likely be made a public beta sometime this month.

latest SP2 release...

... I want to make my own disc of all service pack updates...

You are still mixing the words and that's why the first reply was not what you expected.

There are two Service Packs for XP untill now, the 3rd one will be out soon. They are cumulative, means SP2 includes SP1 and SP3 will include both. There is no such thing as "latest SP2 release" or "all service pack updates".

There are a few "post SP2 updates packs" that contain all the updates since SP2. They usually do not contain IE7 nor WMP10-11. Some, like RyanVM's are integrable with nLite.

I am sorry if I am not wording this correctly, if I integrate SP2 with my XP Pro, there is still over 100 updates. I want it so all the updates get installed on XP cd. I also tried making one integrated with SP3.

Yes you are right, it did not include IE7 but it also did not have any shortcut for IE at all period but could go to start run and type iexplore.exe just to launch IE. Anyways even with SP3, there were 3 or 4 updates such as the dotnet 2.0, 3 and 1.1. I want them all integrated on my cd. Also noticed with SP3, it does not include Windows Media Player 11, which that be integrated. Can anyone help me please.

How do you integrate hotfixes, addons, update packs? Wish latest Direct X 9.0 package was integrated as well. I seen discs made where it includes but how do that do that to make my own disc with everything I want to my liking. Does not seem to work to add say Windows Media Player 11, Direct X, etc to place where it says addons, hotfixes and service packs. What is the easiest way to do all this? Appreciate any help please.
