Is there a fast/simple way to download all updates after xp SP2?

hello everyone, it's been a long time since I made my last unattended and have been out of the 'scene' and it's updates.

I just want to know if there's an easy way in which I can use nlite or any other app to download all the updates that were made available after sp2. We use a dell oem sp2 CD at work and whenever we use it we need to download at least 91 updates to get it up to par.

Is it possible?

Thanks,

ceez

Hi,

Here are the update options you might like to check out:

AutoPatcher XP: http://www.autopatcher.com/files/apup.zip

Offline Update: http://www.heise.de/ct/projekte/offlineupd...wnload_uk.shtml

Smitti.COM: http://smithii.com/slipstream_xpsp2

I perfer AutoPatcher, but that's because I have been using it for years and like the way it works. Check out the others and see which works best for you.

Windows XP SP3 is due out in the near future so that will help; but in the interim ... ;)

Kind Regards

Simon

wow I knew another great app like WUD would come out of an MSFN member!

what a great simple little tool, I will look at the other ones too, but WUD seems super duper easy and friendly to use!

thanks to all!

There are a few update packs out there. http://www.s.p.a.m.net http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ http://www.xable.net

You can incorporate them into your build using nlite http://www.nliteos.com/

Personally, I like xable.net's. I haven't used s.p.a.m, and ryanvm adds extras that I don't want in my installations. Hope that helps.
