jim2029 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Has anyone ever tried to rip the wireless control program from XP and use it in 2000? It would be nice if you use more than 1 wireless card... so you don't need to install the control program for each card.

It has it's own wireless protocol driver and is a universal front end for ANY wireless card. The interface is simple and clear. The program is very small comparing with most todays heavy loaded monsters. Works perfect on Windows 2000 Edited February 29, 2008 by Oleg_II
jojobrituk Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I knew I had seen something like this a while back for Windows 2000, and I was looking for it again when I had tried using 2000 last month, but I just decided to go back to XP..
krose Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 (edited) I used the McAfee Wireless Security program with Win2K. It's free and works with most wireless cards. I used it on a laptop, and two different desktop PCI cards. One older A/B card did not support WPA with the vendor's utility but with McAfee it worked fine. Edited March 4, 2008 by krose
