jbm Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Should I be able to replace the previous IE7 cummulativeupdate in the HF folder with the current one without anyproblems? The reason I ask is when I did that, after I installed XPWindows update said I needed three updatesKB944533 IE7 Cummulative updateKB890046 Vulnerability in Microsoft agentKB903235 vulnerability in JviewIf I manually install just the kb944533 hotfix andrestart the computer windows update says I don'tneed any updates.I also tried integrateing kb944533 into the CD using the/intefgrate switch with the same result of needing thethree updates. and having to manually install the KB944533hotfix.I aslso placed the new KB946026 critical update and thenew kb890830 malicious software removal tool intothe HS folder just in case that could be the cause of my problem
Tomcat76 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Just did two test installs and all is fine here. I'm even test-running two new HFSLIP addons (AMD processor update and MS Silverlight) and it seems to work. Can you ZIP your HFSLIP.LOG file?
jbm Posted February 15, 2008 Author Posted February 15, 2008 Here's my log file. Thans for looking at it.

Tomcat76 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Disregard the comment on windowsxp-kb905474-enu-x86.exe; it's incorrect.
jbm Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 @Tomcat76I made the changes you listed, but I still had thesame problem. So I removed all my regtweaks andapplication installs and that solved the problem. Now I just need to find whick tweak or app is thecause.
