blackhand101 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I need help with setting up unattended when i do a clean install it does not run the wizard where you get to setup your users etc how do i turn that on? also when i do a clean install the default theme is XP classic i have to restart in order to switch to regular any help thanks
Martin H Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Set 'AutoLogon' to 'None' and don't remove/disable OOBE. For your Classic theme problems, then you must be enabling something that you shouldn't have(like above), so post your 'Last Session.ini' file from '%programfiles%\nLite\Presets\'.
blackhand101 Posted January 16, 2008 Author Posted January 16, 2008 there wasno feature "turn off" auto log in please upload a snap shot

Ponch Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 There are 2 basic things to check for OOBE:-Components/ Operating System Options: "Out Of the Box Experience" --> don't tick-Unattend/ General "Skip OOBE" --> don't tick+There are plenty of OOBE threads open on the 1st page of the forum, also a few lines in the FAQ.
blackhand101 Posted January 18, 2008 Author Posted January 18, 2008 (edited) ok i remade this made i think hide pages and made sure i left automatic updates default and i mounted it and installed it in VMware and it worked but then i remade it (using the backup i made) intergrated WMP11 and it turned off OOBE so it is WMP11's fault i have tried using booogys WMP11 slip streamer and it give me a bad installEDIT: oh yes and WMP11 makes it go into classic mode LOL! Cti Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) Well if you want an unattended setup, why not just set up the users in nLite ? Edited January 20, 2008 by Cti
blackhand101 Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 because i reload others systems with the same disc only different cd keys
Arie Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I don't quite understand your problem, but perhaps this is simply because I don't use nLite. You can change your WINNT.SIF file in such a way that you can enter a serial number during setup, but so that the user account creation screens are skipped. See the Unattended Guide and Ref.chm.
blackhand101 Posted January 24, 2008 Author Posted January 24, 2008 everything is fine OOBE works till i SlipStream WMP11 and OOBE is skipped
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Let me guess youre using one of Boooogys old WMP11 addons or another WMP11 addon?Try his slipstreamer because that issue was fixed a long time ago.
