Crazy artifact!

After installing Kazaa, i noticed this little thing in the upper left, just peeking out, confused, i put my mouse by it. oddley enuf, when i slid it over it it turned my mouse into a hand thing. i then grabbed it and moved it around.

look at the attachment! just fiddling around to try to get it to disapper, i put an icon right by it and it went away....Strange s***! anyone seen this befor?

when i used grokster or limewire (dont remember which) i got sumthin like that too....it was just a little gray thing in the top left....xcept i couldnt move it...but when i closed teh program it went away...
