mikesw
Does win 2k Sp4 now include the 128-bit high encryption pack software as per the link below or must I install this on top of SP4?http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
submix8c
"Internet Explorer->Help->About Internet Explorer" indicates current "cipher strength" (this is an Internet Explorer-specific item; not "directly" related to W2K); simply upgrading to IE6SP1 will give 128-bit regardless(?)...Won't swear to what I just said... (haven't used W2K recently)Best bet is to install the SP's then check Windows Update to see if it shows; this will give you a definitive answer...note - if it shows, download IE6SP1, install it, then check WU again to see if still shows/gone to "prove my assumption" (either correct or out-of-my-tree). cluberti
SP4 does not include the high encryption pack, and I do not think that the post-SP4 URP does either.
