Re-Enabling Frequently Used Programs

Recommended Posts

Posted

I used nLite to disable the frequently used programs, but now I want it back. I've removed the registry keys associated with disabling the feature and restarted but it still doesn't work. What can I do?

Run Registry editor (Type regedit in Run Dialog box and hit enter)

Navigate to : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Delete a DWORD value named: NoStartMenuMFUprogramsList

Check here also:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Woah, this is strange, out of the blue, it just starts working.

Bah nvm, it was just the Start menu replacer I installed.
