Arie Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 I know it's pretty useless at this time, but what if I want it installed? where should I put the file messenger.msi?Click here for a full explanation of which types of files go where.
jvidal Posted December 30, 2007 Author Posted December 30, 2007 thanks, but I still had to ask, 'cause I didn't know what kind of switches does messenger.msi support, or if it is silent or what...I had already read that...bye!
Arie Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 thanks, but I still had to ask, 'cause I didn't know what kind of switches does messenger.msi support, or if it is silent or what...I had already read that...Run the application with /? to see which parameters an application allows. MSI-files always allow the same general parameters.
jvidal Posted January 1, 2008 Author Posted January 1, 2008 you mean "msiexec /i messenger.msi /?", right?Anyway, i placed it in HFSVCPACK_SW1 and it gets installed.bye!
Arie Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 you mean "msiexec /i messenger.msi /?", right?Simply running filename.msi /? will work too and is easier to type
