Apevia Q-Pack [56k warning]

ok, so my sisters Apevia Q-Pack, first Gen. has been having some issues lately. we have it almost entirely apart, and before i go put it back together, i'd like to know if anyone can verify what the LCD front panel really does look like.

i've contacted Apevia, and they said that they can replace the LCD component and we just return the defective one to them, however i'd like to know if that's really the issue.

it wont POST every time you push the power button, and after taking off the front bezel, the LCD looked like this:

can anyone tell me if thats what it should look like or not? a new power supply isn't exactly the first option for this right now, especially since the ones that do fit are $60+.

after lots of taking apart and changing, i've come to no conclusive answer as to what the real issue is with this. i've taken apart the entire computer, changed the heatsink, backplate for the heatsink, tried another power supply, but the best i can get is that when the motherboard tray isn't in the computer, the computer works perfectly. the second i put the motherboard tray back into the case, the issues start. is there something i'm missing here?

i can try a couple more things, but i'm not expecting much at all.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated, but this is definitely the end of the line for me and buying apevia products.

i dont even know what's exactly wrong with it.
