how to remove Roxie 5.0

I no longer use Roxieo "easy CD DVD creator 6 but every time I open files or other I get this windows installer and it won't cancel out

windows asks for file ECDC6.mci from the disk, I never had the disk so what can I do to get reid of easy creator from this pc forever

running XP home edition

Use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and remove Roxio from its list.

This is caused by leftover registry entries pointing to the location where the .MSI file used to exist. You either deleted it or moved it. In either case, the registry entries need to be removed which is what WICU will do.

I do not provide links very often because anyone has the ability to use Google.

It will remove the installation-related registry keys/values for any program that uses the Windows Installer Engine.

Winamp, for example, doesn't.
