One more question on themes..

hi everyone i have one more question on themes, i did search but did not find something related to my issue.

iam trying to integrate some non ms themes into my installation. but is not doing it.

this is waht i have:

i created a folder on my desktop and copied the contents of my xp cd,so iam creating my custom xp cd from this folder.

i did patched my computer with the UXTHEME.exe, i am able to use non ms themes on my pc,but when i integrate the themes to my xp cd

they dont show at the end of the installation.

what am i doing wrong??

do i have to do something in my folder?

you say you patch your computer's uxtheme

you need to have nlite then patch the uxtheme on your xp source.

then not sure where you are putting your themes at, but if you make the proper folder on your xp source it should work

on your xp source you would make the folder path

$OEM$\$$\Resources\Themes

then stick what you want in the themes folder post installation in there.

Be aware to have both files available.

*.theme

*.msstyles

Further if you're using wallpapers, you might want to copy them to:

$oem$/$$/Web/Wallpaper

your cursors:

$oem$/$$/cursors

And so forth..
