Suggestion: Break-Button

Recommended Posts

Hi,

a suggestion for the next nlite version:

a Break-button.

It was very nice if I could break the progress, shutdown my computer and continue the progress later.

Also a stop-button would be nice. The operation should be stopped and all changes should be revoke.

Thanks

Or maybe a sort of "save ongoing settings to unfinished ini file" ?

If you've used the program, you've noticed that the source directory is also the target directory, there is no temp directory, so no going back once last step is made. If that last step is not made, the last session is not saved so changes are revoked.

Well,

in between your posts, there´s a nice suggestion/ option for the next version.

What about a different folder, nlite copies to ?

As HFSLIP is doing it, not touching the source folder, but creating the sourcess folder.

But it´s using Temp...

Like the optional question as wucd is doing it :

"Work in the sourcefolder or copy."

Agi

Ahh yes i think that could be a very useful feature! i'm always testing out new combinations of removals, and i also make some unattended CD's for friends with their codes and personal settings. Having the option to specify a 'master source' folder which creates a new disc by copying to a new location and removing on the fly would be very handy.
