January 29, 200224 yr Well there sure are a few Intel users here! I'm surprised no one has come up and said "it's because you guys arent using AMD!" LOL!
January 29, 200224 yr it's because you guys arent using AMD.actually, it also happens on my athlon xp 1800 :/
February 2, 200224 yr a bit too late but it happens to me too with my p4 1.8ghz 512 ddr ram... i cant understand why but it aint happenin to me on my dual boot of win2k i guess another bug of the infamous XP.. i hope to see a fix for this on windows update soon cuz even small things like this make me angry.. LOLI just want this machine to work **** perfect .. i mean perfect without any flaws.. but im guessing that is too much to expect from windows.. oh well
February 2, 200224 yr Hey Blackwar, since when did you get a P4? I thought you had an AMD the last time?

February 3, 200224 yr Hey Blackwar, since when did you get a P4? I thought you had an AMD the last time? [/quote:87162b00d8]hehe.. i was having some problems with the monitor of my other computer, so i returned it and got this one .. this was the only other one available
February 3, 200224 yr now this is **** interesting... when i switch to windows classic mode theme, and then hold down the minimize button, the cpu doesnt shoot up to 100%isn't that weird? give it a try
February 3, 200224 yr Author My PC never shoots up past 2-5% even when running multiple apps like morpheus, edonkey, MSn messenger, NAV, norton firewall, etc....Very interesting. I think I am going to stay in classic mode for a while. Maybe the XP "skin" is a CPU eater.... Who knows. I like the classic mode just as well. This is very interesting. I should think however, that a pentium 4 or AMD XP, MP, Athlon based PC should be fine even with intensive graphics thrown at them. Who knows.Big Booger
February 3, 200224 yr that is true..but i dont think that is the problem.. i play high detailed games and the computer runs just fine, and the xp gui gfx arent close to the games details... im thinkin a bug with the xp luna interface
February 12, 200224 yr Must be some problems some where. My mouse only used 2 or 3% of my resorces AMD 1.8XP 640m SDram under the mentioned test.
February 14, 200224 yr welcome to Windows, the bulls*** on your hard drive [/quote:e0e4ffdea8]how true.. how true
