question on vista language packs

do I need language packs:

1. to view websites in their native language? e.g. viewing korean websites would display text in the korean characters

2. be able to type korean text in apps like word

In WinXP, I was able to do these 2 things after installing the built-in language packs.

thank you.

The built-in IME packs (like in XP) modify the ability to view and enter text INSIDE of applications. You only need the actual Language MUI packs if you want to change the text in the OS or applications themselves.

Are IMEs automatically installed? If not, how do I install them? I can't remember seeing an option to install them during setup (unlike WinXP)?

Thanks again :)
