Error when installing with Slipstreamed XP

Hi there guys.

I am trying to create a slipstreamed Xp SP2 installation.

The source CD is a Dell SP2 re installation CD.

I want to integrate about 10 different model dell machines' drivers into the installation.

I also am trying to add about 80 patches into the image.

And then I have some tweaks that has been enabled.

When loading Xp with the dvd it copies all the files. Then after the reboot I get this error:

Can anyone tell me why?

I believe it's the hotfixes or something integrated, that message sounds familiar.

What is:

WindowsMedia6-KB925398-v2-x86-ENU.exe

and WindowsMedia-KB911564-x86-ENU.exe

isn't the newest already in the

WindowsMedia11-KB936782-x86-ENU.exe

Also try without integrating rootsupd.exe.

Now I remembered something, before all that move IE7 and it's hotfixes to be the last on the list because some of the hotfixes you integrate might be for IE6, I think this is actually the real cause.

So move IE7 down below the Windows hotfixes, and make sure that IE7 hotfixes are below it, like they are now.

In your preset I noticed that you integrate a lot of drivers and some of it are not for xp (you are integrating for win95, win98, winnt, win2000, win2003), so maybe that cause a problem. Also, maybe you are integrating 64 bit drivers into 32 bit XP. And, nLite 1.4 Final is out, maybe you should upgrade.

Cheers ;)

Thanks for the responses guys.

It shouldn't be the drivers. With only the drivers slipped in the image loads fine...

I'll have a look at those patches, thanks!

Ok....

I re-did the image yesterday with all the drivers and all the patches included...

NO tweaks... And it works now...

Any idea which tweak could cause the error?
