benifin
Hi allDumb question I know .....My motherboard is a Gigabyte P35C DS3R - it uses the Intel 965 Express Chipset. When I do a VLite, I can never decide which Intel Chipset Driver .INF to integrate. The ones available that I think are potentially relevant in the Vista Directory [once I've unzipped the chipst driver] are:-965m965gg33q35There doesnt apear to be a "plain" 965 .INF or a " 965 Express .INf " ?Can someone please advise which is the right / best one to integrate ?Thanks,Ben Edited November 6, 2007 by benifin
ajua
the easiest way is to integrate the whole vista folder into vLite.
nuhi
Keep the folder in the original structure, select any INF.
Jeronimo
Install drivers on current system by use of setup. Afterwards open explorer for "Windows\inf" and check the most recent oem*.inf files. Those files can be opened in notepad and in the head it will show the original name. Copy that file from the appropriate Vista (x64/x86) folder along with the cat-file. titikab
I'm responding to this "old" topic because I'm encountering the same problem as the first poster. And, by reading the answers he received at this time, I can see that everybody has his own method to integrate intel drivers which is not to ease my research.Anyway, the directory for the intel driver is like that :In vlite, we have the choice to integrate a driver only or a directory of multiple drivers. Which one should I choose to get the drivers installed properly?Thank you for your help.
