Dekorum Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Hey,I am on a copy of XP that has been nLited with version 1.2.1 by the way.Now I just downloaded the new nLite 1.4 and installed the new runtimeR3 in the same folder of course. Now I am getting this error when I press next after I locate the folder where my Windows XP software is. Here is a screen shot of the error. Why am I getting this? When I press continue it practically freezes and never slipstreams the XP.
mara- Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 You need to install official .NETFramework 2.0 because R3 Runtime have some problems with nLite.. Also remove R3 Runtime before installing .NET Framework 2.0.Cheers
Dekorum Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 Thanks anyway but I found that out myself last night!
nuhi Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 This has been fixed in the latest 1.4, check the main topic and let me know if it works with the Lite now. This applies just to those with the cablib error.
tuxrug Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I have this same error in the latest version of nLite (1.4.9) using Vista Home Premium x64 with all updates. Downgrading to 1.4.8 resolved my error.
