AlBundy33
I known that I have to put some cabs from directx_nov2007_redist.exe to hfcabs. But which cabs do I need?I have WinXP SP2 (32Bit) - so I think I don't need the 64-Bit cabs.Al
Tomcat76
Windows XP SP2 already has DirectX 9.0c so slipstreaming the DX9 core is blocked if the SP level is 2 or higher. You can have HFSLIP slipstream the additional binaries that are included in the bi-monthly redists. See my list for info on which are supported. You will need the latest test release of HFSLIP if you want the x3daudio*.dll files properly supported. AgiHammerklau
I´m just curious, why somebody wants to slipstream the whole stuff.I´m glad, if I can get rid of the defaults and any other crap, but nvida and logitech are bringing it back. There are too many default profiles. If you need gaming .dlls, grab them, when you need them. There is no need, to have 1GB in autostart for gameprofiles and another 1GB just for forcefeedback controllers, you are not using....For Games, you don´t even want to touch. So, bog down your computer...Agi
Tomcat76
I´m glad, if I can get rid of the defaults and any other crap, but nvida and logitech are bringing it back. That's actually ironic, because nVidia is usually coupled with data loss...
