kacper Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 (edited) I have integrated all hotfixes since SP2 (including IE7 and WMP11) with nlite, but after Windows XP install some hotfixes still show up on Windows Update. What is happening and how can I fix it.List of added hotfixes that show on Windows Update:KB939653KB933729KB932168 Edited October 25, 2007 by kacper
MagicAndre1981 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 which fixes are shown on WindowsUpdate?
Legolash2o Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 In what order did you integrate everything is nlite did the oldest hotfix/addon last then it would have to re-update its files and therefore re-appear in Windows Update. (Correct me if im wrong)
kacper Posted October 24, 2007 Author Posted October 24, 2007 (edited) List of added hotfixes that show on Windows Update:KB939653KB933729KB932168I'm using a Swedish version of Windows XP. I'm just selecting all updates and drop them into nlite. There are two packages for the KB939653 hotfix, one for IE6 and one for IE7, I have only added the one for IE7, will it make difference if I add the KB939653 for IE6 as well. AgiHammerklau Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) Please attach your last session ini (with languages and keyboards removed). It´s a wild guess, but it´s possible, that there is a problem with swedish letters.Agi Edited October 25, 2007 by AgiHammerklau

AgiHammerklau Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) Thx, now we have somthing to work with.1. you integrated IE7 hotfixes, but where´s the IE7 ? don´t see an addon... same for WMP11...2. never ever save anything under "documents and settings" !!! it will easily exceed the 256 letter pathlength and can cause severe read/ write problems3. it´s maybe not the swedish fonts, but somtimes nlite dosn´t like "ä, ö, ü,..."Did you use a "clean source" or has nlite already been run on it ?Agi Edited October 25, 2007 by AgiHammerklau
kacper Posted October 25, 2007 Author Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) Every time i tried I used a clean source. And IE7 and WMP11 are integrated (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-sve.exe and wmp11-windowsxp-x86-SV-SE.exe). 2. never ever save anything under "documents and settings" !!!it will easily exceed the 256 letter pathlength and can cause severe read/ write problemsAll other hotfixes are working so I don't think that it's the problem (but I've wont save anything under d&s anymore). AgiHammerklau Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Maybe I missed some important changes or it´s BSE, but I can´t remember, that IE7 or WMP11 get installed, if you simply dump the exe into "hotfixes". Agi
kacper Posted October 25, 2007 Author Posted October 25, 2007 nLite slipstreams IE7 autmaticly and uses WMP11 Slipstreamer for WMP11.
AgiHammerklau Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Sorry, missed the lines in the changelog.Agi
