unknown error has occurred

I have a piece of e-mail in my junk folder which I can't delete. I keep getting a message that "an unknown error has occurred."

In reading some posts in this forum, someone suggested a Microsoft fix, which I downloaded and installed. That allowed me to delete an e-mail I've had in my inbox forever, but still can't delete this e-mail from my junk folder.

Any help?

Have you tried right-clicking on the Junk Folder and select "Empty"?
