.NET Version Requirement

Dear All,

Can anyone please advise whether all the .net versions are required to be installed in a Windows Xp SP2 installation or the .NET version 3 is cumulative/backward compatible.

.net versions are not cumulative, although most newer .net apps aren't written against a specific version. However, if you have an app that needs 1.1 or 2.0, you'll have to install those along with 3.0.

Notice the 3.0 install the 2.0 during the setup ...

So with 3.0 and 1.1 you've all versions
