Hi does anybody know why my group policy is working randomly on the pc's?

All the PC's are in the same OU, I checked this first.

It seems like it applies the group policy when it feels like it.. It's strange.. I checked the application log on one of the local machines that was supposed to have the policy applied and it had an error saying something like this:

Group policy was aborted , access was denied!

Thing is that after a few restarts it will suddenly work... I Can't quite understand why.. It seems to just throw this error at random..

The policy that I'm applying is at computer startup so I can't see why I'm getting access denied messages... And anyhow it will sometimes work so that makes no sense.

I checked the security settings on the netlogon folder where the scripts are located and they are allowing domain computers full control, authenticated users read and execute (Standard security settings)

Anybody have any ideas?

Check your DC for errors about the clients authenticating.

Also, have you used the RSoP tool?

That's very interesting about the time because I was quite suspicious about that as it was.

So how would I go about making sure the time syncs with the domain controller on all clients? Is there a group policy object that does this or a script?

Your help is greatly appreciated thank you.
