Kurt_Aust
I've been trying to create an up to date XP pro x64 install media and copped more than a few failures along the way (using 1.4b).As best I can tell it's due to the installation of IIS by nLite (note that there is no problem if you install it later with "Add/Remove Windows Components").I've attached several session files, all you should need to do to recreate the problem is slipstream sp2 and IE7 then set IIS to install in Unattended Settings. The only difference between v3.Pass and v4.Fail is that I reran nLite and just altered IIS install to test my theory as to the cause. As you might note from the picture, I can't create the Quick Launch and Internet Explorer is unavailable (as well as a lot of other apps: calculator, paint and wordpad are missing from the accessories main menu just for a start).LAST_SESSION.v1.Fail.INILAST_SESSION.v2.Fail.INILAST_SESSION.v3.Pass.INILAST_SESSION.v4.Fail.INI Edited September 24, 2007 by Kurt_Aust
